I wrote a thesis on Business Creativity in 2015, but its conclusions are just as relevant today.

The thesis examines the paradox of how New Zealanders come up with great ideas but largely fail to commercialise them.

We should be enabling creativity, so that we don’t lose the very thing that makes us unique - Kiwi Ingenuity– especially as we navigate this new world of AI.

It’s only by thinking differently that we can solve our core problems, social and economic.

We can do it by getting to the future first.

I’m driven more than ever now to change the way we think about business in New Zealand.
